В 1632 году турецкий инженер и учёный Хезарфен Ахмет Челеби совершил исторический полёт на самодельных крыльях. Он спрыгнул с вершины знаменитой Галатской башни высотой в 55 метров в Стамбуле, чтобы проверить свои изобретения. Изобретатель благополучно пролетел около 3,5 км. Этот смелый эксперимент стал первым в истории полётом человека на крыльях!
